December has been a month full of magic in Hispania, escuela de español. 2019 has given us very good news and moments and we close this dreamy year by celebrating Christmas with our students.iantes in a very special way.

To the rhythm of the song 'All i want is you', this year we have reflected the history of our studyianyou Jay, who decides to live the Hispania experience in Valencia in December and the result is… learn a lot of Spanish, meet friends from all over the world and enjoy magical moments. In short, MUCH HAPPINESS!

We share the Christmas traditions of Spain with our students.iantees from all over the world

The celebration of Christmas in Spain begins each year with the National Lottery Draw on December 22. In our beloved school we adapt this tradition to make our students participateiantes; we celebrate our 'Christmas Lottery Giveaway Hispania, escuela de español'.

I study themianThey have a lot of fun sharing this tradition with their teachers and classmates and look forward to the numbers premiados to check what studyiantees will be the lucky winners. The school teachers, as cheerful and fun as ever, are in charge of singing the numbers and making their students knowniantes to the popular children of San Ildefonso.

Traditional Christmas music is also heard in Hispania: "Joy, joy, Christmas is here!"

Every Christmas we celebrate our popular 'Hispania Christmas Carols Contest'. A great show in which carols, the most popular Christmas songs, invade the school and infect usian of joy and rhythm.

I study themianTogether with their classmates they prepare a Christmas carol and delight us on the day of the big contest. Teachers from the school also participate in the contest and show their talents. Some of the songs chosen were 'La Marimorena', 'My sabanero burrito' o 'Towards Bethlehem goes a donkey'. Do you know these Christmas carols in Spanish? 😉

In this contest the premiYou are given challenges such as the most complicated grammar, the best staging or the best pronunciation. 😉

For many of our studentsiantes was the first time they dared to sing in Spanish, and they did it great! A big round of applause for everyone!

We enjoyed Spanish classes and very Christmas activities in the city center

Valencia is a very beautiful city and at Christmas even more so! The historic center of the city is dressed in light and color at this time and the city has a very special brightness.

I study themianTeachers from our school enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere of Valencia with an experimental Spanish class in the center of the city, very fun and practical. They learned a lot of Spanish while touring the city center, doing various games, activities, and contests.

Additionally, with the cultural activities program and free time from school, I study themianThey made a Christmas Tour through the center of Valencia, accompanied by a tasting of chocolate with churros. Delicious!
